oh, what a fun birthday i did have! perhaps being 24 isn't so bad after all. it was all about thai food, yummy cocktails, funky ugh boots and very cool friends. i think it may have been the best night i've ever had out in canberra. perhaps because the people there were all of my choosing. and it is great to finally feel like i have friends here, it seemed to be a long time coming at times. of course, as is always the way they seem to go as fast as they arrive, as yet another left for overseas (denmark) last week. but it's always worth getting to know them, as there are always fun times to be had. not to mention the possibility of free accomodation overseas (pete japan would be first on my list if only i could afford it :))

ah well, dream on. much work to be done and if i ever want to be able to afford to go over seas i best do this work so i can get this long coming degree.
